Because of ABDC, there’s all these hype about this young girl they call Chachi. Olivia Gonzales is her real name and she’s only 15 but she dances with so much swag, it’s almost as if it was effortless.
I think many people took it for granted and thought that she was like that all along. They may not know how far she had come.

Hey guys! I’m back from 2 days of hiatus!? (haha is that even considered long enough for it to be termed a hiatus?)
Anyways, yes Chachi from I.aM.mE will dominate today’s post (i can almost envision screaming fans now at the mention of her name). Honestly, I am not obsessed with her while most are but I must say that she is one young lady who stands out from the rest and I really admire her for who she is.
She’s only 15, youngest dancer at this season’s ABDC and she is part of one of the hottest dance crew in the competition. Lucky or fortune people might call it but for me, I think otherwise.
It’s obvious that as talented as one might be, it still takes hard work and consistent effort to groom that innate potential for it to explode into fireworks (cue Katy Perry). Same for Chachi.
If you read her blog, she was always the first one to arrive at dance practice and the last to leave. If you follow her tweets, she could rehearse till 4am++ in the morning and still put on a (:
You really can’t hate this sweet girl.
Thought I’d share a video showing a considerably young Chachi (2009 — 12/13 years old) dancing with 747. Look at those moves — DOPE. Now if you look at a few so-called professional dancers out there, some can’t even keep their choreos clean.
I respect her. She’s committed to what she loves doing — dancing — and she deserves all the applause and praise she has got. PERIOD.
